The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (Al and DS) is established in the year 2021. This is a 4-year degree course approved by AICTE, New Delhi under Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). The Department is offering undergraduate program with intake of 120.
The curriculum of Al and DS is includes Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Mining, Statistical Methods, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytic, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision and more. Al and DS is helpful for students to draw meaningful insights from big data and acquire skill-sets to deal with numerous real time applications in this field. Since last decade, Al and DS witnessed enormous growth and dramatic breakthrough innovations applied in almost every sector. Research within department often explores cutting-edge Al techniques, develops new algorithms, and applies them to various domains.
Department Facilitate and encourage students internship and online certified courses like Swayam, NPTEL, IIT offered, Coursera, IBM professional development courses to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the field of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science.

Department facilitate internships, co-op programs, industry-sponsored projects for Final Year students, and Placement Drives-Activities to bridge the gap between academia and industry.
