Civil Engineering is a core discipline that deals with design, construction, maintenance of physical infrastructure such as Roads and highways, Bridges, water supply systems, waste management systems etc. Civil engineers play a crucial role in shaping-built environment, ensuring public safety and improving quality of life. The field significant impacts on society by contributing to Infrastructure development, Disaster resilience, Sustainable development, Economic growth.
The Department of Civil Engineering established in 2026, offers an undergraduate program with an intake capacity of 30 students. In line with industry demands, we have expanded our academic offerings to include a postgraduate program in structural Engineering, commencing in 2026 with an intake capacity of 18 students.
The department has well qualified and dedicated faculties with diverse areas of specialization. The faculties and students actively participate in academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities as well. They are also engaged in research projects and frequently their research papers are published in national & international journals. The department is well equipped with state-of-art laboratories and computational facilities.
