About the Laboratory
The Data Science Laboratory is a specialized computing facility designed to provide students with practical exposure to data analytics, machine learning, statistical modeling, and business intelligence techniques. The laboratory enables students to apply theoretical concepts to real-world datasets and develop data-driven solutions using modern tools and technologies.
The lab is equipped with 25 high-performance desktop computers, each powered by an Intel Core i5 processor, providing the computational capability required for data analysis, visualization, and machine learning applications. The laboratory environment supports hands-on learning through practical sessions, projects, workshops, and research activities in the field of Data Science.
About the Laboratory
The DBMS Laboratory is designed to provide practical exposure to database design, implementation, administration, and big data technologies. The lab enables students to gain hands-on experience with relational databases, NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and distributed computing platforms. It supports academic courses, project work, research activities, and industry-oriented training in database management and data analytics.

About the Laboratory
The Computer Programming Laboratory is designed to provide students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in programming and software development. The laboratory supports the academic curriculum by enabling students to learn, practice, and implement various programming concepts through experiments, assignments, and project work.
The lab is equipped with 25 desktop computers, each configured with an Intel Core i3 processor, ensuring a reliable and efficient computing environment for programming activities. The systems are installed with the necessary development tools, compilers, and integrated development environments (IDEs) required for coding and software development.
About the Laboratory
The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Laboratory is established to provide students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Generative AI technologies. The laboratory serves as a platform for academic learning, research, innovation, and industry-oriented project development.
The lab enables students to:

About the Laboratory
The Web Technology Laboratory is established to provide students with practical exposure to modern web development technologies, website design, web application development, and deployment. The laboratory enables students to gain hands-on experience in front-end and back-end development, database integration, responsive web design, and cloud-based web applications.
The lab supports academic coursework, project development, research activities, internships, and industry-oriented training in web technologies.

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science), Suman Ramesh Tulsiani Technical Campus – Faculty of Engineering, Khamshet, successfully organized an Expert Session on “Cloud Computing: Practical Approach” on 21 st August 2026 at the Shri. S. M. Kuvelkar Hall. The session was conducted by Mr. Shridhar Naik, Technical Trainer, with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to the rapidly evolving field of Cloud Computing and its applications in the IT industry. The session focused on bridging the gap between academic concepts and industry-oriented practical knowledge. Students gained valuable insights into cloud infrastructure, networking, Microsoft technologies, Linux, cyber security, and emerging cloud technologies.
Suman Ramesh Tulsiani Technical Campus – Faculty of Engineering, Khamshet, successfully conducted the Nashamukti Kendra Awareness Programme on 18th August 2026 at Classroom 3204. The programme was organized as a student welfare and awareness initiative with the objective of educating students about the harmful consequences of addiction and substance abuse. The session focused on creating awareness regarding the physical, psychological, social, and academic impacts of addiction. Students were encouraged to understand the importance of making responsible choices, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and seeking appropriate guidance and support whenever required. The programme formed an important part of the institute's commitment towards the holistic development, well-being, safety, and responsible citizenship of students.
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science), SRTTC-FOE, Khamshet, Pune, successfully organized "College Rivals–4: Biggest E-Sports Showdown" on 30th July 2026 at the Central Court of the institute. The event aimed to provide students with a competitive platform to showcase their gaming abilities, strategic thinking, teamwork, leadership, and decision-making skills through popular e-sports competitions. The tournament received an overwhelming response from students across various departments. Participants competed enthusiastically in multiple gaming categories, promoting healthy competition, digital entertainment, and collaborative learning beyond academics.
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science) successfully organized a Special Session on “Prompt Engineering” under the “AI Tools – Insights & Awareness” series on 24th July 2026 at Lab 3108. The objective of the session was to familiarize faculty members with the emerging concepts of Prompt Engineering and demonstrate how Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools can be effectively utilized for teaching, research, content creation, coding, documentation, and academic productivity. The session served as a platform for faculty members to understand the significance of crafting effective prompts for AI-based applications and to explore practical techniques for leveraging AI technologies in higher education.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) successfully organized an expert lecture on “AI for Digital Marketing” on 15th April, 2026. The session was conducted with the objective of providing students with exposure to the practical applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the rapidly evolving field of digital marketing. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Rohit Deoo, Founder of Alive Digital Group of Companies, Pune, who brought valuable industry insights and real-world experience to the session. His expertise helped bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices. Objectives of the Session The primary objectives of the expert lecture were: To understand the role of AI in modern digital marketing To introduce students to AI-powered tools and technologies To explore real-world applications of AI in marketing strategies To enhance knowledge of data-driven decision-making

The Department of CSE (DS) successfully organized an Expert Session on “How to Build Your Technical Profile with Current Industry Trends” for SE (CSE-DS/Computer/AIDS) students on 11th March 2026. The session was delivered by Mr. Santosh Nagargoje, Principal Engineer , Senior Technical Lead at Magic Software Private Limited, Noida. He shared valuable insights on building a strong technical profile, understanding current industry trends, and preparing students for future opportunities in the technology sector. The session was provided students with practical knowledge, industry exposure, and motivation to enhance their technical and professional skills.
Industrial Visit to the Maratha Entrepreneur Expo 2026 The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) successfully organized and executed an industrial visit to the Maratha Entrepreneur Expo 2026 for our students. The visit took place on 28th February 2026 at the Agricultural Grounds, Shivajinagar, Pune. The expo provided a dynamic platform for students to observe a wide spectrum of technical exhibits, innovative startups, and established business ventures. This exposure was instrumental in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industry applications. The visit was particularly relevant to the curriculum, complementing studies in Entrepreneurship Development, Technology Commercialization, Startup, and Environmental Studies (EVS). The visit was conducted under the invaluable guidance of our respected Head of Department, Dr. A. B. Manwatkar, and was efficiently coordinated by Dr. Sudnya A. V. We also extend our sincere gratitude to our esteemed Director, Dr. Jayawant B. Sankpal, I/c Principal, Dr. Pooja Sharma, and the Management for their unwavering support and encouragement in facilitating such enriching academic activities. The event was highly successful in enhancing the technical competency, entrepreneurial mindset, and professional readiness of the participating students.
Department of CSE(DS) is proud to announce that our students participated in the , “Navonmesh 24 Hours National Level Hackathon 2026”, Kothrud, and successfully advanced to the second round of the competition. Competing under the team name *“Debug Squad”, the event was conducted on 27th and 28th February 2026 , where the students showcased exceptional innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. During the 24-hour intensive hackathon, the team worked collaboratively to develop practical and innovative solutions addressing real-world challenges. The team was mentored by “Ms. Tanuja Phirke” whose continuous guidance, technical expertise, and encouragement significantly contributed to their performance. The students also received valuable leadership and motivation from the respected Head of the Department Dr. A. B. Manwatkar , Mr. D.V. Kudande, Dr. S.A. Vanakudre, Ms. Sanika Kolhe & Ms. S.R.
