National Science Day

On the occasion of National Science Day, a guest lecture was organized by the Department of Engineering Science and Humanities, SRTTC Pune on the topic "Importance of Science in Day-to-Day life”. Objective of the lecture was to make students aware about the vital role and applications of science in everyday life. The lecture inspired the students to understand how scientific principles influence modern living and technological development. The Chief Guest for this function was Dr. Vedavati Gururaj Puranik, Ex Principal Scientist, NCL,Pune who delivered an insightful session highlighting the significance of science, particularly in the field of medicinal chemistry. Her expertise and valuable insights provided the students with practical knowledge of the subject. She shared several real-world examples, making the lecture highly informative, interactive, and inspiring for the students.
