About This Event
The Department of Civil Engineering organized an expert lecture on "Fundamentals of
Structural Analysis" on 24th March 2026 with the objective of strengthening the
fundamental knowledge of students in the field of structural engineering. Structural analysis
is one of the core subjects in civil engineering that deals with determining the effects of loads
on structures and their components. Proper understanding of structural analysis helps
engineers design safe, stable; and economical structures.
The aim of organizing this lecture was to provide students with practical insights into the
analysis of structures and to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical
engineering applications. Expert lectures conducted by professionals from industry and
academia play an important role in enhancing students' learning experiences and motivating
them toward professional excellence.
