Objectives

PEO 1 Graduates of the program will become competent engineers suitable for the mechanical engineering based industry and higher education.
PEO 2 Graduates of the program will acquire the necessary foundation in fundamental mechanical engineering subjects for development of mathematical and analytical abilities.
PEO 3 Graduates of the program will acquire the knowledge and skills in mechanical engineering to provide technological solutions.
PEO 4 Graduates of the program will learn managerial, financial and ethical practices such as, project and financial management skills, multidisciplinary approach and soft skills.
PEO 5 Graduates of the program will respond to growing demands of society through lifelong learning.

Dr. G. R. Patil
HoD
Dr. G. R. Patil is a distinguished Professor and researcher in Civil and Structural Engineering with 38 years of academic, research, and administrative experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from IIT Guwahati and an M.E. from IISc Bangalore and B.E. in Civil Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Karad. His expertise includes Structural Dynamics, Earthquake Engineering, Finite Element Method, RCC Design, and Sustainable Construction Practices.
He has published 40+ research papers, authored books and book chapters, guided 65+ postgraduate dissertations, and published patents in the field of structural vibration control and earthquake engineering. Dr. Patil has actively contributed as NBA Coordinator, NIRF Nodal Officer, ARIIA Coordinator, reviewer for Springer journals, and member of syllabus revision committees of reputed universities.

xperienced educator and professional with expertise in Civil Engineering, specializing in
Water Management and Structural Engineering. Holding a B.Tech from SGGSIENT,
Nanded, and M.E from RSCOE, Pune, with 12 years of teaching experience and 2 years of
industry experience. Additionally, certified as a Drone Pilot by DGCA. Proven track record in
handling institutional responsibilities, including NAAC accreditation, NBA, ISO certifications,
and Green Audit.
