About This Event
The program commenced with the NSS Song, followed by the inspiring address of our
Principal Sir, Prof. (Dr.) Jaywant B. Sankpal, who shared his valuable thoughts with the
students, motivating them to embrace social responsibility, discipline, and holistic
development. His address set a strong foundation for the celebration.
This was followed by the motivational words of our Programme Officer,
Mr. Deepak A.Pawar, who encouraged students to actively contribute towards the vision and mission of NSS.
His message emphasized the importance of youth participation in nation-
building and community development.
On this occasion, Student Representative Mr. Vinay Khule delivered a thoughtful
speech on the significance of NSS Day, highlighting the values of unity, selfless service,
and the motto 'Not Me, But You.'
The event was anchored with enthusiasm by Student Representative Ms. Vedika Yadav,
who also delivered the Vote of Thanks. The program concluded with the National
Anthem, fostering a sense of pride and patriotism among all present.
Awareness Program: Plastic Ban and Promotion of Cloth Bags
As part of the celebration, a special awareness program was organized focusing on the
harmful effects of plastic usage and the urgent need to adopt eco-friendly alternatives.
The campaign highlighted the severe impact of plastic on the environment, wildlife, and
human health.
Students actively participated in spreading the message of banning single-use plastic
and promoting the use of cloth bags. Posters, slogans, and short talks were presented,
emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices in daily life. The initiative aimed to
instill environmental consciousness among students and the community.
Participation
A total of 80 students and 15 NSS volunteers were actively present for the celebration.
