About This Event

Constitution day celebration & 26/11 terror attack remembrance program was celebrated with
great enthusiasm and active participation at Suman Ramesh Tulsiani Technical Campus, Faculty of
Engineering, Kamshet, Maval. The event was graced by the presence of our respected Principal,
Prof. (Dr.) Jaywant B. Sankpal Sir, along with HODs, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and
students.

Program Highlights :

The institution observed Constitution Day along with a solemn remembrance of the martyrs of
the 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attack. The program was organized with a vision to instill constitutional
values, promote national integrity, and pay tribute to the brave hearts who sacrificed their lives for
the nation.The event commenced with a warm welcome by Mr. Deepak A. Pawar, NSS Programme Officer,
who highlighted the purpose of celebrating Constitution Day and remembering the historic tragedy of
26/11. He emphasized the importance of understanding the Constitution as the foundation of Indian
democracy.

This was followed by the Preamble Reading, confidently presented by student Tejraj Dombale. The
reading served as a powerful reminder of the guiding principles embedded in the Constitution.
Students pledged to uphold democratic values and contribute positively to society.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Jaywant B. Sankpal addressed the gathering with an insightful and inspiring
speech. He explained the historical significance of 26 November, the adoption of the Indian
Constitution, and the responsibilities that come with citizenship. He also urged the students to
develop awareness about constitutional rights and duties.

A major highlight of the event was the active participation of 50 NSS Volunteers from the First Year
and Second Year. The FE and SE students prepared vibrant and informative poster presentations
showcasing the structure, importance, and spirit of the Indian Constitution. Many posters also
depicted the courage of the 26/11 martyrs, capturing their bravery, dedication, and patriotism.
Students Mitesh and Tejraj delivered an impactful PowerPoint presentation (PPT) containing
detailed insights about the Constitution, its amendments, and the role of citizens. The PPT also
included a tribute section dedicated to the heroes of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, explaining the events,
sacrifices, and lessons learned.
The program was gracefully anchored by Pratiksha Supekar, who ensured that the event progressed
smoothly. Her confident and composed anchoring added charm and professionalism to the overall
execution of the program.
Apart from the formal activities, the event also incorporated motivational discussions, student
reflections, and interactive conversations about the relevance of constitutional values in modern
society. Faculty members encouraged students to become socially responsible individuals and active
participants in nation-building.
The tireless contributions of all FE and SE students, along with the support of HODs, faculty
members, and non-teaching staff, were commendable. Their collective effort ensured the event was
organized successfully and meaningfully.
The program concluded with the soulful patriotic song “Ae Mere Vatan Ke Logon,” reminding
everyone of the sacrifices of countless heroes who have safeguarded the nation. The emotional
resonance of the song created a moment of reflection and gratitude among all attendees.
Overall, the event served as an opportunity for students to learn, reflect, and reconnect with the
values that define India as a democratic and diverse nation. It strengthened the spirit of unity,
responsibility, and patriotism within the student community.

Participation :
A total of 40 students and 20 NSS volunteers were actively present for the celebration.
OUTCOMES OF THE PROGRAM:
1. Enhanced understanding of the Constitution, its structure, and its values.
2. Strengthened sense of national responsibility and civic awareness among students.
3. Increased participation and leadership skills among NSS volunteers.
4. Encouraged creative expression through posters and presentations.
5. Fostered unity and respect for national heroes and martyrs.
6. Provided students with a platform to articulate their thoughts on democracy and justice.
The event successfully fulfilled its objectives and left a lasting impact on all present. It inspired
students to become conscious, responsible, and value-driven citizens of the nation.
